About Us
It all starts in the Organic Aqua Fresh Aquaponics system where the fish are fed a steady healthy diet of organic food. The food leftovers and fish waste are transferred into the biological and mineralization filters where beneficial bacteria convert it to Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Iron, Calcium, and other nutrients necessary for plants to grow and develop.

Our plants are grown from organic seeds in a controlled environment which are monitored 24/7 to achieve a maximum yield. A controlled environment helps maintain the optimum light cycle, ideal PH parameters, balanced humidity, and temperature year-round. This produces healthy plants that thrive, allowing the company to grow year-round while maintaining the same quality, and texture across.

Solids are removed from the biofilter and mineralization filter and fed to an anaerobic digester along with the leftovers from harvesting (roots, leaves, and plants that do not meet Organic Aqua Fresh quality control). The fermentation process further enhances the mineralization of nutrients creating a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and methane gas. Part of the liquid nutrient-rich solution is added to the plant’s reservoir, the rest is sold as organic fertilizer. The methane gas is used to produce clean electricity offsetting Organic Aqua Fresh's carbon footprint by not releasing it into the atmosphere.
Practices
Organic Aqua Fresh products have been certified organic by QCS, a leading company in the organic certification of agricultural products throughout the United States and the World. One of the primary goals of the company is to grow products within a 200-mile radius of the communities it serves. By reducing transportation costs, we are able to provide the freshest organic vegetables at affordable prices.
We bring together nature and technology to transform the future of agriculture. By combining these two, the perfect conditions are created for healthy plants to thrive without the need for synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. The waste and leftovers from production are transformed into clean energy and organic fertilizer.
