About Us
We are a small family operated farm in Miami that is passionate about sustainability, and agriculture. We have been growing mushrooms for about 6 years. We focus on the production of organic gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. We are a husband and wife team that both studied Environmental science with a focus in Agriculture and have both worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in various plant research and finance projects. Our combined experience and passion for Mushrooms led us to start experimenting with varieties of mushrooms that can be grown in this South Florida climate. I have been consuming Reishi (ganoderma lucidum) in tea form prior to this and knew this would be a mushroom to grow for personal consumption at the very least. We started growing Oyster mushrooms along with other choice edibles in a fully controlled environment. We knew this was not sustainable with the input but also with the cost of production. We quickly realized we needed and wanted to grow seasonally and sustainably. We now focus on growing medicinal mushrooms such as Reishi and lion's mane seasonally.

Beyond Mushrooms, we believe in integrated systems of Agriculture that works with the seasonal environment. Our mission is to grow the best quality mushrooms in a sustainable and organic matter, while making it available to the community. We handcraft high quality mushroom products using the best organic ingredients, often incorporating local goods from farmers in the area.
Practices
Our growing philosophy is to grow seasonally.

We love foraging for mushrooms, and traveling to explore new wild varieties. Our chaga products are made with 100% sustainably harvested chaga from Northern Wisconsin. We grow our mushrooms using organic practices and hope to get certified sometime in the future.

We process our grown and harvested mushrooms into a double extraction tincture. The mushrooms are processed in 100% organic cane alcohol which extracts the medicinal properties found in the mushrooms. We then process those mushrooms in water to make a decoction. We combine the two and end up with a 25% alcohol double extraction Tincture. This process allows for maximum use of the medicinal properties found in the mushrooms.
